These posted scans are references, the actual Polaroids have such subtlety, the palettes of the two are different in part due to the age of the film – you can scan this, rephotograph this or reproduce this but you will never be able to recreate the quality of the image on the surface of the print.


I took my wife Tracy and kids, Griffin and Madelyn to the Kutztown park today to go sledding. We started at the Keith Haring statue and tried to climb our way through the 20+ inches of powder. I gave up and let Tracy take over. While I stood by the double jogger stroller I couldn’t help but notice how the planes were so white against the deep blue sky. Your photos remind me of this storm.
